Try-athlon

A 1-minute self-filmed project capturing the early stages of entering the rabbit hole of endurance sports and triathlons.

I was tasked with this project at the beginning of the semester to "show-off" what I can do for the rest of the class. While there are a few things I would change about it, I was pleasantly surprised of this work when I uncovered this export in my files, virtually blowing off the dust it gathered. The funny thing was that I misinterpreted the criteria as I was NOT supposed to film myself. However, through this self filming exercise, I learned a lot about how to set up shots and focus when the subject wasn't in frame until rolling. In the end, I got the top mark in the class.

 

Little did I know, this project would kickstart my journey to becoming an Ironman a year later...
